
Why are people reblogging it and being like, “OMG this is heartbreaking and depressing?
All I see is an idiot man-child who won’t pull his own weight in his relationship, applies to nonexistent jobs as some kind of joke, then ends up at a Wendy’s and I’m supposed to feel bad? Like he “gave up” on his dreams? He was a fucking loser.
His dream was apparently to sit and do nothing while his girlfriend works all day. How HEARTBREAKING that he had to get a job like everyone else.
wow maybe if he actually tried applying for a real job he could’ve worked somewhere else

I read through it myself (as much as I could) and really didn’t find it that inspirational or sympathetic. I did...

I’ve seen various commentary about this comic and finally gave it a read and have to say I tend to agree with this...
I read it as along the lines of Overqualified by Joey Comeau. For all we know, the comic itself may just be a comic...
